All Fives is a domino variation that has close ties to Muggins and sniffs. It is considered one of the best domino games.

It is similar to draw games only that the goal is not simply to leave but to make the free edges of the total to five (or a multiple of five). It belongs to a family of games referred to as “point games”.

when the dominoes have been scrambled, different players selections a tile to find out who goes first; the player with the high-rated tile gets the thread. The tiles are then placed back to the stack and then scrambled again. Each player then selects tiles to consist of their hand. The amount of tiles chosen is affected by the number of players:

of 2 of players tiles selections 7 separately 3 players choose ?? of 5 tiles 4 selections 5 of players tiles each

the tiles that are left will be the boneyard and will be reserved for drawing when the need arises.

the leader puts the initial domino. The initial tile can have any value, and may not be a pair. But, the first double, whether it’s the first tile or not, can be placed on all four ends. The first double is called the spinner. The following doubles can only be linked on two ends.

The game moves one clockwise. If possible, each player places a domino at a free end of the layout. If the player can not do so, he must choose dominoes from the boneyard until he can take a step. If there is no remaining domino, then the player passes.

The goal of all Fives is to make the free edges of the total disposition at 5 or multiples of five (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). The player who thus gets this total amount of points.

At any time, 2, 3 or 4 free ends can occur. When the initial game is a double, all points will equal its sum.
